Graduated! And now to start another degree plan!
I did it! I graduated and completed my Associates of Applied Science degree in Digital Arts. I even graduated with HONORS! I am so stoked! Very excited about the new things on the horizon! I applied early last semester to a McMurry University early last semester. I want to continue my education and get my Bachelors of Fine Art in Art Education. My passion is art, but also teaching art! Teaching in general is fun to me. I volunteer at Team Chip Taekwondo in Abilene, Texas and assist with kid classes and even lead the warm-up for the adult class today. I enjoy imparting knowledge. I also heard from the Center for Contemporary Arts today about my emerging artist membership package. They will be looking at the packages next week! Speaking of Center for Contemporary Arts, I have the above image on exhibit with the DirtyDrawers Annual exhibit. I am so excited about what is on the horizon. I also did some pro bono work for a local private school. I painted some backdrops in acrylic for a marionette play of Rumplestiltskin. It was a daunting task since I haven't painted that scale of age before, but they turned out great! The kids and their teacher were very happy with the product! I have stayed busy and continue studying character design and development with my hero Stephen Silver via Schoolism.com and can't be any happier with life at the moment. I will continue to take commissions of all kinds and sizes. Please feel free to contact me with any art, or design needs!
