Car Walk was AWESOME!
Here in Abilene, Texas the Center for Contemporary Arts puts on a monthly themed event called Art Walk. Once a year they have the Car Walk! This is where local and some not so local car and car customization enthusiast bring their rides and show off. I worked the event demonstrating digital art techniques as well as selling prints, and doing quick sketches. I worked into a couple commissions and sold a ton of prints. I also invited a couple fellow artist to join me at the table to showcase their art and do some business themselves. It was super validating to have an awesome team with to to do so well that Thursday. It lit a fire in me to do more live events and hone my presentation skills in an austere setting. It was all in all a great experience and tons of lessons learned.
